I love the Lord for He heard my voice

As for mercy I did cry
And because He answered when I called to Him

I will serve His Name until I die;
But even then, my heart it will not fear

For my soul shall be with Him
And I will praise my Lord for evermore

For His grace has healed my sin

 

How can I ever repay my Lord

For His goodness and His love?

I will lift the cup of salvation to Heav'n

And call upon His Name above

And I will offer up my life to Him
As a living sacrifice,

For He has freed my heart from chains of death;

My Lord has paid the price

 

So now, as I walk on through life,
I will spread the news to all

That I no longer cry with tears of despair
